About the challenge

Join the community of developers, gather together in a team and show us how good you are!

We are looking for smart individuals and teams, from all over the world, who excel at functional programming. You are invited to learn more about æternity and to explore our unique Smart Contract language Sophia!

The Hæckathon will start remotely and have its end right after the Æternity Universe Two conference at the CryptoCastle, a historical place right in the heart of Germany.

Take this opportunity to code and finish your Submission during the Hæckathon Finale on-site at the CryptoCastle at a unique location where you also have the chance to meet some of the æternity lead developers in-person! Don't worry if you can't make it to the castle, you can also finish your project remotely.

To grow the developer community ecosystem we want you to build meaningful decentralized applications that drive user adoption.

You identified an important missing piece in our ecosystem? Build it and have the chance to win a prize of up to $15,000!

What to Submit

  • Project name and a list of all team members
  • A description of what your project does and why you decided to build it
  • Demo video or presentation slides.
    • Your video should be around 3 minutes long and include a demo of your working project. (Videos must be made publicly visible)
  • Access to your GitHub code repository
  • Complete submission form
    • Provide all of the required fields on your Devpost submission form, BEFORE the final deadline on September 18, 2022, at 11:59 PM CET
